WireCAD provides a means by which to track cable numbers within a project. To assign a cable number, the systems on both sides of the cable must have valid SysNames.

 

The cable number is dependant on the selected Cable Number Format which can viewed by clicking Databases>Cable Number Format.

 

To assign a cable number, simply double-click the cable in the drawing.
