How To: Show Location Markers in the Map Tool

This topic focuses on the procedure to display Locations in the Map tool.

Explanation

The WireCAD Map Tool can show your Locations for which you have entered GPS coordinate data. Only Locations that have GPS data will be considered.

The text displayed in the Location Marker is determined by the Display Format String of the Location section of the GPS Settings panel.

1.Open the Map Tool. It can be found in the Project Explorer under the Project Databases section.

2.Enter any Filter data that you would like to limit the display of Locations by.

3.Click Display > Locations. This will display all locations for which GPS data has been entered. If you have an empty filter all Locations will be shown.

4.You are done.
