Object Snaps (OSnaps)

Function:
An object snap(Osnap) mode specifies a snap point at an exact location on an object. Osnap specifies running object snap modes, which remain active until you turn them off.
Note: OSnaps changes are transparent and can be changed while another command is active.
All Off Toggles all OSnaps off. |
Endpoint Snaps to the end point of a Line of Polyline. |
Midpoint Snaps to the mid point of a Line or Polyline. |
Center Snaps to the center of an Arc, Circle, or Ellipse.

Insertion Snaps to the insertion point of an Insert. |
Perpendicular Snaps at a right angle to a Line or Polyline. |
Nearest Snaps to the nearest point on any entity. Note: This will override all other OSnaps. |
Apparent Intersection Snaps to the apparent intersection of two lines(they do not need to actually intersect, but must be able to. If not the OSnap will not appear. |
Node (point) Snap to a Point entity. |
Quadrant Snap to the quadrant of an Arc or Circle.

Tangent Snap tangentially to an Arc, Circle or Ellipse. |
Intersection Snaps to the intersection of any two entities. |
