Generate a New Bill of Materials
Menu: None
Default keyboard shortcut: None
Function:
Creates a New Bill of Materials report.
This report can be viewed by opening the BOM.RPX file. You will then need to apply Conditions to view only the File Name of the Bill of Materials you just created.
How To: Create a New Bill of Materials

Select Create a New B.O.M. |

Enter a New Name for the BOM. |

Select the type of information to retrieve.

If you select the Edit the Bill of Materials table before printing option you will see the next screen, otherwise you be taken directly to the Print Preview page. |

Vendor and Cost information is pulled from the global Equipment, Connectors, and Cable Types databases. |
|
If you have saved more than one BOM you will need to switch to the Conditions tab and add a filter to select only records where FileName = YourBOMName.
