WireCAD Assurance
WireCAD Assurance provides the following benefits:
- Free major and minor version upgrades and hotfixes.
- Priority technical support.
- New samples, tips and how-to topics from time-to-time.
- Discounts on training.
- Access to beta products.
- Assurance Price Lock guarantees that your annual Assurance rate will not increase year-to-year as long as you remain current.
Pricing
We calculated WireCAD Assurance at 60% (see Price Lock below) of the current list price for each WireCAD product level. For example:
if WireCAD PRO list price is $2500/seat the annual Assurance will be $2500*.6 = $1500 per seat per year.
Price Lock
If you remain current year to year with your Assurance we will price lock your Assurance. Regardless of the list price of WireCAD your Assurance will not change for the seats which you already hold licenses for.
If you decide to not renew your Assurance you will lose your price lock. If you decide at some point in the future to renew you will renew at the then current Assurance rates.
FAQ
Q: What does "Priority Technical Support" mean?
A: We have never not taken a phone call or answered an email for a WireCAD user. If your Assurance is not current you may be bumped if a call comes in from someone that is current. Rest assured that we will take care of you at some point.
Q: Will you charge us "Back Assurance" if we do not renew?
A: No. If your Assurance lapses you will lose your price lock. You will renew at the then current Assurance rates for your procuct level. You will not be require to renew for all missing years.
Q: We have purchased several keys throughout the years each of them at a different price level. Is there some way to have them all priced at the lowest price lock?
A: No. Assurance is associated with the authorization key. If a key was purchased at WireCAD 5 pricing and renewed annually it will be locked at the WireCAD 5 Assurance. If you purchase subsequent keys at the WireCAD 6 and 7 prices they will be locked accordingly.
Q: Do you have a support only option?
A: Yes. We have a support only option. It is 15% of list. There is no price lock and it does not include major updates. Update will be 45% of list in addition to the 15% support only Assurance option.
