After adding a new cable type you can edit additional information in the Cable Types Grid.

Settings Explanation

Setting	Description
ManufacturerID	Select a Manufacturer. Only manufacturers that have the DisplayInCableTypes flag set appear here.
Cable Type or P/N	Name it.
Description	Describe it.
Characteristic Z	The Characteristic impedance.
Cable OD	Outside diameter.
Guage	Conductor Gauge.
Rating	NEC Rating.
Weight	Standard weight.
Standard Length	Standard Length.
Core/Conductor Configuration	Configure multicore cable types.
Shielding	Select a shielding type.
Is Multicore	Used by the application to know if it's a multicore cable.
Core Count
Conductors Per Core
Conductor Count Including Shields
Color Code Applies To	Applies the selected Color Code to the core data. None - just number the cores/conductors Conductors - applies the selected color code to the conductors. If the color code does not contain enough data the conductors will be color coded then numbered. Cores - applies the selected color code to the core data.
