Software Activation

Menu: Help>Control Software Activation

Function:

WireCAD v4 employs a query and response software activation. This is a two step process:

1. Enter the keycode that you were supplied at the time of purchase.

2. Activate the software.

Step 1. Enter the Machine ID in the textbox.

If you are web connected, click <By Web>. The function will connect to the WireCAD activation server and retrieve the Activation code automatically.

Otherwise, you can activate <By Phone>. Call us on the number provided. We will need the name of the purchaser. You will be asked to provide the Machine ID that you typed above.

We will provide you the activation code.

Enter the Activation Code in the textbox. Set the combo box according to the information we provide.

Click <Continue>.

You may authorize one machine for each keycode. You may control the activation by clicking Help>Control Software Activations... If your installation is activated you will see the Activate WireCAD dialog configured as below:

Click <Deactivate This Copy of WireCAD>.

You must be web connected to deactivate.
