Drawing a Rectangle.

1. On your menu bar Click Basic Cad Tools>Rectangle. Alternately, if you have assigned a Basic Cad Tools tool bar to your screen, you can simply click the [ Rectangle ] button between Arc and Text. For more information on adding or removing tool bars, please refer to Adding or removing toolbars. | |
2. Once you have selected Rectangle, you will need to select the start point for your rectangle (you can start by selecting where you would like any of the 4 corners to be). Simply Click anywhere in your drawing that you want your start point, or by entering the coordinates into the command line. | |
3. Now drag the mouse to where you would like your opposing corner to be.(As you move your mouse, you will see the rectangle take shape and you can adjust the size accordingly). | |
4.Click to lock the rectangle in place. |
