Blocks
Insert Block Into Drawing
A block is a collection of geometry that represents something logical. Blocks can represent doors, toilets, details or anything else. ----
Note: When a block is placed in a drawing it is referred to as an Insert or the block is inserted in the drawing space. |
Create Attribute Definition
An Attribute is an editable text entity that when included in a Block can be edited later using the Edit Attributes function. This lets us have changeable text in each insert of a Block.
Make a Block
Create a block by naming, determining a basepoint or insertion point for the block and selecting the geometry to include.
