This will guide you on how to unzip a project using your Operating System before Unpacking and Checking In the project.

Before You Start

When doing a Unpack/Checkin WireCAD performs the Unzip function automatically. Only use this if you are getting an error message during the Unpack/Checkin function in WireCAD.

Unzip Using OS

Step Description
1. Unzip the packed up project from the OS. Use the built in unzip utility or one of your choosing. There are quite a few free unzip programs such as Winzip, WinRAR, 7-ZIP etc.
2. Click Project>Utilities>Unpack Project
3. Click Next. On the settings page select the Open project after UnPack option.
4. Click the [...] button. The Open File Dialog will appear.
5. Change the filter from Zipped Files to WireCAD Project File.
6. Browse to and open your "YOURPROJECTNAME".wc6plf file.
