Command Line Shortcut: ShowAppSettings

Product Level: XLT, PRO, ENT
Configure the application for multiuser, community contribution, security, etc.


Application Setup Wizard

This wizard appears on the first run of the application and subsequently if you click Project>Application Setup. The Application Setup Wizard guides you through the following functions:

  1. Selecting a global database type and location
    1. Local Machine file based (VISTADB) database.
    2. Remote Network Share file based (VISTADB) database.
    3. SQL Server.
  2. Selecting your WireCAD Community Server contribution mode. WireCAD will automatically contribute your equipment definitions to the WireCAD Community Server unless you tell us not to.
  3. Opt to use WireCAD Security. Use this to set up Users, Groups and Permission within the application.
  4. Set up your drawing environment to suit your liking.
  5. Manage your command line shortcuts.
