Hi Chris,
I had a problem I was trying to work on during a 5-hour plane ride: As you can see from the screengrab, the cables that I've changed in the drawing show up as deleted. I see the green highlighted records in the cable database. I also find cables that should have been deleted during the drawing work, but still appeared in the database.
I tried packing and updating to permanently delete the green highlighted records in the cable database, but they remain. When I delete redundant cables they show as deleted and are highlighted in green. In other instance, I've deleted redundant cables (control-delete) but somehow they reappear, possibly after a ripple and close.
As you can see in the Brady cable label template, I still see the deleted cables. I'm sure I can filter them out of the report, but it would be helpful if I could clear those unwanted entries out of the cable database.

For everyday Delete Handling see the section in the Project Settings on Delete Handling. The default mode is to leave the record in the database marked as deleted and available. You can, however, change this to a hard delete mode where the record is removed from the table.
In order to delete records from the table you must use the Delete Selected Rows function or Ctrl+Del or the [-] key on the record navigator at the bottom. Then you MUST save - File>Save or your changes will not be committed to the database.
