IS THERE A WAY TO EDIT THE STOCK BLOCK SO THAT I CAN PLACE THE MFG, AND MODEL WITHIN THE BODY OF THE BLOCK. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THE OPTION TO HAVE A 1 IN 1 OUT EQUIPMENT BLOCKS THAT FIT WITHIN THE 100 UNIT SPACING, SIMILAR TO THE WAY A JACK, TERMINAL, OR PATCH FIELD IS PLACED. SO FOR EXAMPLE IF I HAD A->D CONVERTERS ON THE FRONT END OF A ROUTER, THEY COULD JUST SIMPLY BE LINED UP WITH INPUTS ON THE ROUTER.
I THOUGHT I REMEMBERED THIS CAPABILITY PERHAPS IN VERSION 7, WHERE I COULD ENABLE OR DISABLE OR MOVE ASPECTS OF THE STOCK SHAPE.

The display property you are looking for is the Descriptor Locations ... See the attached screen grab.

THANKS!. However, is there a way to shrink down the block box height? I want to be able to stack them the way i might patch fields or terminals.

That is a function of the geometry in the shape dwg file combined with the display properties and the selected I/O

ok, i may have figured it out via pin spacing and vertical padding
