I've got a drawing that's just for the purposes of printing labels. 18 devices, 9 wires. I hadn't saved the drawing yet, but when I selected all the blocks and clicked Assign SysName I got a separate "you must save the file before assigning to the database" error message for each of those 18 devices. It definitely got the message across, but one would have done the trick too.
