Hey Guys,
How do I reformat my PC and maintain Databases and stuff?
How do I reformat my PC and maintain Databases and stuff?

You will need to grab the contents of:
c:\users\public\WireCAD\WireCAD8
That will contain your global database and any custom blocks or template drawings that you have created.
I don't know where you put your WireCAD projects, but you will need to back them up as well.
The default location is:
c:users\public\YourProjectName
One final thing to do will be to launch WireCAD and release the lease so the next machine can pick it up without our intervention.
Click the Control Software Activation button in the upper-right-hand corner.
Click the Deactivate This Copy button and make sure that the server responds that it has indeed deactivated.
This does not remove any files it just opens the license up so that it can be used by another machine.
